About Easkey Right
Easkey Right is the right-hand reef on the east side of the Easkey River mouth - the lesser-known sibling of the more famous Easkey Left. It works on the same NW groundswells but tends to be a touch shorter and a touch less crowded. Still a quality reef break in its own right.
Like its neighbour, the Right wants a NW swell with SE offshore winds and a long period to break cleanly. Mid-to-low tide is best. The two reefs together make Easkey one of the most reliable winter destinations on the Sligo coast.
Hazards & Notes
